A Historic Milestone

Saturday, September 13, 2025 marked a historic moment for the Danish Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do community with the official inauguration of the World Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do Federation.

Founded on August 8, 2025 by Kwan Jang Erik Kristensen, the federation was established to unite practitioners worldwide while preserving the authentic traditions and values of Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do.

Kwan Jang Erik Kristensen

On September 13, 2025, Erik Kristensen was promoted to the rank of 10th Dan, recognizing a lifetime devoted to Tang Soo Do and the education of students and instructors throughout Denmark and across the world.

Recognition of Existing Ranks

Members joining the World Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do Federation retain:

Officially awarded belt ranks
Existing Dan grades
Previous time-in-grade
Their country's independence
Their organization's identity

Important

Members are never required to:

✕ Retest for an already earned belt

✕ Accept a lower Dan rank

Existing Dan ranks simply need to be officially transferred before future promotions.
